It describes the operations and functions of local churches and their relationship to the denominational structures of which they are members.The Adventist Church Handbook also expresses the Seventh-day Adventist Churchs understanding of Christian life, church government, and discipline based on biblical principles and the authority of duly constituted General Conference sessions.
